About Our Programs

  • Youth Karate

Students Aged 6 -12 will learn traditional Okinawan Uechi Ryu Karate as well as the competitive components of karate such as kata (patterns) and kumite (free sparring). Uechi Ryu karate is a great way for students to increase their physical and mental fortitude while still having a lot of fun!

  • Teen/Adult Karate

Older students will train the same material as the youth program, however an emphasis will be placed on harder, more serious training with the goal of increasing each person's strength, durability, and mental fortitude. Adults and teens in karate will benefit greatly from an increased self confidence, knowledge of self defense, and increased physical fitness.

  • Kobudo

Kobudo literally translates to ‘old martial way’ however in modern times we understand this to mean practicing with weapons commonly used during the feudal era in Okinawa Japan.. Weapons studied are: Bo, Sai, Nunchaku, Tonfa, Tinbe/Rochin, Kama, and Eku. Students that wish to practice Kobudo must study karate first or be invited by the instructor. Sensei Kyle Iseke is a member of the Ryukyu Kobudo Hozonkai headed in Naha, Okinawa, Japan.
